Fashion to Figure Trendy Plus Size Fashion for Women

Fashion to Figure

The Fashion to Figure business story is an interesting one. Starting off in 1904 by the founder of Lane Bryant, FTF currently has 19 stores and there’s a good reason why – they’re trendsetters!

Fashion to Figure was founded by Nick and Michael Kaplan, the great-grandsons of Lena H. Bryant, the revolutionary businesswoman and visionary dressmaker who pioneered plus-size fashion more than 110 years ago. Today, the Kaplan brothers have built their business on the foundation of their family’s deep heritage stemming from their great-grandmother’s passion and belief: “never ask women to conform their figures to fashion, but rather bring fashion to the figure.” Today, this statement continues to inspire the Kaplan brothers and drives their mission as they encourage the notion that fashion is a state of mind, not a size range.

FTF consider their diverse and vibrant community of Stylists and Team Members one big family. Together, their goal is to provide an unforgettable shopping experience. The talented stylists are skilled in matching body types with different styles in a way that leaves guests feeling confident and chic. They pride themselves on their passion for fashion and stay up to date on all of the latest trends and styles.

FTF are always running competitions and regularly update an excellent blog over at http://www.fashiontofigure.com/blog/ which is well worth a read if you’re looking for inspiration and ideas on what to buy at Fashion to Figure.

We revolutionized Tagless T-shirts and underwear, we invented the sports bra, we were the first to advertise a bra on national television (Playtex), and we are innovating with ComfortBlend and temperature-control X-Temp fabrics and seamless Smart Sizes bras.

HanesBrands is a socially responsible manufacturer and marketer of leading everyday basic apparel under some of the world’s strongest apparel brands. Our innerwear and activewear apparel brands include Hanes, Champion, Playtex, Bali, Maidenform, Flexees, JMS/Just My Size, barely there, Wonderbra and Gear for Sports. In addition, our international brands include Zorba, Sol y Oro, Rinbros, Track N Field and Ritmo.

We sell bras, panties, shapewear, sheer hosiery, men’s underwear, children’s underwear, socks, T-shirts and other activewear in the United States, Canada, Mexico and other leading markets in the Americas, Asia and Europe. In the United States, we sell more units of intimate apparel, male underwear, socks, shapewear, hosiery and T-shirts than any other company.

We bought Maidenform Brands, Inc., in October 2013, adding the Maidenform, Lilyette and Flexees intimate apparel brands to our portfolio.

Unlike most apparel companies, Hanes primarily operates its own manufacturing facilities. More than 90 percent of the apparel units that we sell worldwide and in the United States are manufactured in our own plants or those of dedicated contractors.
