Rooted in skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing, Tactics is the convergence of style, quality, passion, and positivity. Tactics is a skate shop, a snowboard shop, a surf shop, a sneaker shop, and so much more. Independently owned and located in Eugene, Oregon, they’re inspired by having the Cascade mountains at the back, the Pacific ocean at our feet, and some of the world’s best skateparks in all directions.
The Tactics’ goal is to treat customers like rock stars – to give you courteous, informed, and professional customer service and consistently fulfill the promise to deliver quality gear and clothing to your doorstep quickly and accurately. All Tactics staff are comprised of riders of all levels and experience and we are here to answer any questions you might have, whether you call, e-mail or hit them up on live chat.
Tactics don’t try to be everything to everyone and you won’t find toaster ovens or shower gels. Where much of the competition is running their online operation out of the stock room or, at the other end of the spectrum, they are storing their skate shoes next to the cowboy boots in a giant roboville building the size of Cleveland, Tactics sits comfortably in the middle. They don’t try to be everything to everyone – they are specialty. However, Tactics also don’t fumble around in the back rooms hoping your order is actually in stock. Tactics.com operates out of a dedicated modern warehouse that is staffed by riders, not outsourced to someone who doesn’t know a skate wheel from surfboard wax. We are also proud to operate one of the most respected and unique boardshops in the country – if you are in Oregon, come hang out with at their 8,000 square foot store.
All online inventory is real-time, so if the site says it’s in stock, then it is. Imagery is done in-house, so you’ll see all the critical angles, in sharp, color-accurate pictures, even with 360-degree views in many cases. The warehouse staff care about every order, and it shows in the way your orders are handled and packed.
