KiwiCo was built out of a belief in the importance of developing creative confidence. They believe that this confidence helps kids think big and act like creators and producers instead of just consumers. Kids with creative confidence don’t assume one “right way” to build with blocks, paint a picture, or solve a problem. Their unique way is the right way!

Kiwi Co was built out of a passion for hands-on fun that encourages creativity and curiosity in children. The owner found it tough to find the time to come up with engaging hands-on activities, let alone get the materials.

Kiwi Co was created to fulfill that wish and to celebrate kids’ natural creativity and curiosity. We all want to make it fun, easy, and delightful to spend time building, exploring and creating together.

KiwiCo builds children’s creative confidence and problem-solving skills with award-winning STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) projects and activities. Every month, each of our lines (Cricket Crate (ages 0-2), Koala Crate (ages 3-4), Kiwi Crate (ages 5-8), Doodle Crate (ages 9-16+), and Tinker Crate (ages 9-16+) delivers developmentally appropriate projects, inspiration, and activities created by in-house experts, and tested by kids.

In each crate, young makers will find an educational magazine, project supplies, and detailed instructions. KiwiCo lines cover themes in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), art and design, imaginative play, and fine motor skills.

Since its inception, the Kiwi Co team has grown. They’ve added creative parents who dream up the projects, valued experts who review them, and a community of kid testers who keeps Kiwi Crate on their toes and ensures the projects are fun and engaging.
